Enough schools have to leave the ACC in order for the current GOR


to be voided. If Clemson and FSU announced today that they were leaving the ACC for the SEC, then do any of the other ACC have potential new homes at this time? Is the Big Ten interested in expanding right now? If so, then how many ACC schools would the Big Ten be willing to take? The same 2 questions also apply to the Big XII. Basically, Clemson, FSU, and anyone else in that group won't make a move until they are sure enough additional members will have new homes too. Even then it probably will turn into a legal battle if enough schools decide to remain in the ACC and restock the membership similar to what the Big East Football Conference did when BC, Miami, and VT left for the ACC. It doesn't matter if the ACC goes from being a power conference to a mid-major/G5 conference or even if the ACC decides to discontinue sponsoring football because the GOR is not a sport specific agreement.
